User Avatar Settings Page Bug Finally Fixed!

I have been working on our user profile pages for a while now. I know many of you, especially new users to Blogger Den have been very eager to fill out your profile pages and set up your custom profile. Unfortunately, with the new system devised there was a bug in Google Chrome and Internet Explorer which wouldn’t allow users to upload a custom avatar.

I’m happy to say the issue was fixed earlier this morning. Just a simple issue regarding JavaScript and nested objects, should be working properly in all browsers now. I’m also glad to say Blogger Den has been growing very quickly, new users have been joining by the hundreds and the quality of submissions have been improving substantially.

I’m proud to offer Blogger Den as one of the few DoFollow Pligg-based social news sites. As we grow I’m going to do my best to make sure our community will scale properly with it, so expect many new exciting features to be released over the next few weeks.

Thanks all for your patience and support, and keep up with the great story subs. Oh, and tell all your friends about Blogger Den. I want to really get our community moving and build up an awesome user base!

Should Any new Categories be Added to Blogger Den?

This question has been drifting around in my mind for a while, and I haven’t been able to come up with anything good. So I figured that since Blogger Den’s community has been growing so quickly, I would post the question to all of my users! Do you guys have any suggestions, ideas, complaints, or thoughts on the current category setup? Do you think there should be less, more, or anything swapped around?

I really want Blogger Den to be the hub for bloggers and internet marketers from around the world. If you are interested in making money online, learning how to blog, set up ads on your website and anything similar, Blogger Den is the place. And I want the topics on the site to reflect that 100%!

I’ve disabled comments here on the Wordpress post, just don’t enjoy dealing with them here. Feel free to leave your thoughts in the comments section on the article at Blogger Den.

The Blogg – Blogger Den News and Updates Live!

So I’ve finally gotten the Blogger Den Blogg up and running! I decided to be a little fun with the name, so I’ve gone with “The Blogg”. Saying The Blogger Den Blog seems so fruitful, but The Blogg is short, sweet, and to the point in most cases.

Anyways, we’ll be hosting tons of news and updates here as the site progresses. I’ve added a small subscription box to the right in the sidebar here. If you want to get e-mail updates about anything new with the site, the latest trends on blogging, SEO, or Making Money Online I would love to see most members sign up!

Note it’s completely free, and you can cancel at anytime since it’s through Google’s FeedBurner. I will try and update the blog here once or twice a week, but I feel as though it’s overkill to update every day or every other day. There just isn’t enough content.

Anyways we’ll have to see where this goes. I don’t think I need to make this a long-winded post and whatnot, I just wanted to declare the blog is indeed open for business! I encourage you all to stick around Blogger Den as well. We’re going to have a ton of updates and changes coming soon, and we want to accompany all of the great blogging and marketing articles submitted to the site.
